Our MBRAs were printed by Protolabs in WaterShed XC 11122 resin built with 0.004 inch layers using the stereolithography file.
We use MBRA holders that were developed by the Britton lab that were printed by Protolabs with PA 12 Black Multi Jet fusion resin in 80 micron layers using the stereolithography file .
We published a book chapter providing detailed protocols for assembly and operation of MBRAs for characterizing colonization resistance, which includes a recipe for BRM3. (An screen-reader accessible version of Table 3 provides a recipe for a defined medium similar to BRM3.)
